Krasnoyarsk is a city and the authoritative focal point of Krasnoyarsk Krai, Russia, situated on the Yenisei River. It is the third-biggest city in Siberia after Novosibirsk and Omsk, with a populace of 1,035,528 as of the 2010 Census. Krasnoyarsk is a critical intersection of the Trans-Siberian Railway and one of Russia's biggest makers of aluminum. The city is known for its tendency scenes; creator Anton Chekhov made a decision about Krasnoyarsk to be the most delightful city in Siberia.
The city was established on August 19, 1628 as a Russian outskirt fortress when a gathering of administration class individuals from Yeniseysk driven by Andrey Dubenskoy touched base at the intersection of the Kacha and Yenisei Rivers and developed strongholds expected to shield the wilderness from assaults of local people groups who lived along the Yenisei and its tributaries. The name Krasnoyarsk was given in 1822 when the town of Krasny Yar was allowed town status and turned into the managerial focus of Yeniseysk Governorate. In the 19th century, Krasnoyarsk was the focal point of the Siberian Cossack development. Before the finish of the nineteenth century, Krasnoyarsk had a few assembling offices and railroad workshops and a motor house.
