About Klintsy
Klintsy is a town in Bryansk Oblast, Russia, situated on the Turosna River, 164 kilometers or 102 miles southwest of Bryansk. Inside the system of regulatory divisions, Klintsy fills in as the authoritative focus of Klintsovsky District, despite the fact that it's anything but a piece of it. As a managerial division, it is as one with two country areas, joined independently as Klintsovsky Urban Administrative Okrug — a regulatory unit with the status equivalent to that of the districts. Klintsy Sloboda was established in 1707 by laborers Old Believers, and is named after the last names of the main pioneers Klinets in the plural. In 1782-1796 was Klintsy part of the Novgorod - Seversky governorship, and in 1796-1802 piece of the Little Russia territory. On February 27, 1802 posad Klintsy turned out to be a piece of Chernigov territory, Surazh region. A renowned local of Klintsy is Evgeny Belyaev 1926– 1994 of the Alexandrov Ensemble.
