Kasli

Kasli is a town and the managerial focal point of Kaslinsky District in Chelyabinsk Oblast, Russia, situated among a few lakes on the eastern incline of the Middle Urals, 87 kilometers northwest of Chelyabinsk, the regulatory focus of the oblast. It was established in 1747 as the settlement of Kaslinsky around a foundry. Town status was allowed to it on July 29, 1942. The Kasli plant ended up popular for its solid metal castings in the mid-nineteenth century.

In 1900, an open-work structure was formed from metal for the global presentation. It is currently displayed in the Yekaterinburg picture exhibition. Kasli is popular for Kasli press design masterful figures made of solid metal. The cast models of Klodt, Lancere, Solovyova, and other noticeable craftsmen are among the most well known works in the Museum of Decorative Castings. In 1860, the Kasli production line was regarded with the Golden Award.

A year later, the plant was granted the Small Silver Medal at St. Petersburg's Textile display. Good recognitions and silver and brilliant decorations were granted at the World Exhibitions in Paris, in Vienna, Philadelphia, Copenhagen, Stockholm, and again in Paris. Many eminent chronicled aesthetic models and figures at Moscow and St. Petersburg, and additionally the iron furniture at the Winter Palace, was created by the Kasli production line.
