About Kamyshin
Kamyshin is a city in Volgograd Oblast, Russia, situated on the correct bank of the Volgograd Reservoir of the Volga River, in the estuary of the Kamyshinka River. It was established in 1667 on the left bank of the Kamyshinka River. In 1710, the majority of its occupants were moved to the fortification of Dmitriyevsk on the contrary bank of the stream. In 1780, the name was changed to Kamyshin and it was conceded town status. In the 19th century, Kamyshin transformed into a vendor city with sawmills and windmills.
It was in the past renowned for its watermelon exchange. Inside the structure of regulatory divisions, Kamyshin fills in as the managerial focal point of Kamyshinsky District, despite the fact that it's anything but a piece of it. As an authoritative division, it is fused independently as the city of oblast hugeness of Kamyshin, a managerial unit with the status equivalent to that of the districts. As a metropolitan division, the city of oblast noteworthiness of Kamyshin is consolidated as Kamyshin Urban Okrug.
