Hermitage Theatre

The Hermitage Theater in Saint Petersburg, Russia is one of five Hermitage structures coating the Palace Embankment of the Neva River. The Hermitage Theater was the second venue of the Winter Palace. It supplanted the Russian Imperial Theater, which worked from 1764 until 1783. The Hermitage Theater was worked in the vicinity of 1783 and 1787 at the command of Catherine the Great to a Palladian outline by Giacomo Quarenghi.
