About Bronze Horseman

The Bronze Horseman is an equestrian statue of Peter the Great in the Senate Square in Saint Petersburg, Russia. Appointed by Catherine the Great, it was made by the French stone worker Etienne Maurice Falconet. The name originates from a 1833 ballad of a similar name by Aleksander Pushkin, which is generally viewed as a standout amongst the most huge works of Russian writing. The statue is currently one of the images of Saint Petersburg. The statue's platform is the tremendous Thunder Stone, the biggest stone at any point moved by humans.
