About Bodaybo
Bodaybo is a metropolis and the administrative center of Bodaybinsky District in Irkutsk Oblast, Russia, placed at the Vitim River at its confluence with the Bodaybo River, positioned 1,290 kilometers from Irkutsk, the place of business of the oblast. It became founded in 1864 and served the desires of the local gold mining industry. The Lena bloodbath occurred close to Bodaybo in 1912. It was granted town fame in 1925. The Bodaybo Airport is the best airport in Bodaybo and is quite small.
It is served by Angara Airlines which flies only to Irkutsk. Bodaybo has a subarctic weather Koppen weather class Dfc, with bitterly cold winters and warm summers. Precipitation is quite low however is quite better in summer time than at different times of the year.
