About Beslan
Beslan is a town and the regulatory focal point of Pravoberezhny District of the Republic of North Ossetia-Alania, Russia, situated around 29 kilometers north of the republic's capital Vladikavkaz, near the outskirt with the Republic of Ingushetia. As of the 2010 Census, its populace was 36,728, making it the third biggest town in the republic behind Vladikavkaz and Mozdok. Beslan was established in 1847 by transients from somewhere else in Ossetia and was informally called Beslanykau after a nearby master, Beslan Tulatov. In official utilize, in any case, the town was referred to after Tulatov's surname as Tulatovo or Tulatovskoye.
It was renamed Iriston in 1941. In 1950, when the town was quickly industrializing, it was renamed Beslan. On September 1, 2004, Beslan's School No.1 was seized by a gathering of something like 32 Islamic psychological militants identified with the Second Chechen War. The attack finished on September 3 with a bleeding shootout between the fear based oppressors and the Russian security powers. As indicated by authority information, 333 individuals were murdered, 186 of them kids, and hundreds more injured. Everything except one of the prisoner takers were slaughtered. The survivor was captured. He was attempted and indicted and condemned to detainment.
