Balakovo

Balakovo is a city in Saratov Oblast, Russia, situated on the East bank of the Volga River around 131 kilometers upper east of Saratov, the authoritative focus of the oblast. It was established in 1762 by the Old Believers who came back from Poland and was allowed town status in 1913. Inside the structure of managerial divisions, Balakovo fills in as the regulatory focus of Balakovsky District, despite the fact that it's anything but a piece of it. As an authoritative division, it is joined separately as the city of oblast hugeness of Balakovo—a managerial unit with the status equivalent to that of the districts.

As a metropolitan division, the city of oblast essentialness of Balakovo is fused inside Balakovsky Municipal District as Balakovo Urban Settlement. Balakovo is the area of the Saratov Hydroelectric Station on the Volga River and the Balakovo Nuclear Power Plant. It is served by the Balakovo Airport which right now does not work. Balakovo has rail association with Moscow, and is an end goal for some train courses. For quite a while it was trusted that the city of Balakovo was established in 1762, yet later a report dated 1738 was found in the files of St. Petersburg, which makes reference to the Cossack glade ownership of Balakov Yurt, found two versts from the Volga.
