Zorleni

Zorleni is the commune of the equal name in the county of Vaslui , Moldova , Romania . It is located in the northern a part of the county, inside the Tutovei Hills . At the 2002 census it had a population of 10,000. Inhabitants. The call of the village comes from the word "Zorila , which may be translated by way of "luceafar de sunrise" or a person who has the nice to be diligent . The call of the village appears for the first time on March 28, 1594 , in a report via which Aron Voda sold to a customs officer, for the sum of 2000 hard and 6 horses, the village Zorilenii and with a place of mill inside the water of Barlad above the Barlad honest.

They were from the border of the Barlad honest. Zorleni changed into formed after June 2, 1602 when the customs officer Andrei Kiriac, receives in his gift from Irimia Voda the vicinity known as Silistea Zorileni to make a village there. The population of the commune participated actively inside the War of Independence 1877-1878 and World War II.
