Titu

Titu is a city in Dambovita County, Muntenia, Romania, including Titu factor and from the villages of Fusea, Hagioaica, Mereni, Plopu and Salcuta. Located within the center of a simple bearing its call, flowing via regular flowing waters, the locality gives itself as a secondary railway node, having a mean role at the cities of Bucharest, Pitesti and Targoviste. At the stop of the 19th century, Titu became a rural commune, the house of Bolintinu in Dambovita County.

The commune comprised the villages of Titu, Plopu, Maruntisu, Fusea, Codreanu, Hagoaica, Dambovicioara and Atarnati, with 1606 population, and four church buildings, faculties, a steam mill and the administrative institutions of fee.
