Tandarei

Tandarei is a town in Ialomita County, Muntenia, Romania. The locality is the fourth urban center of size and importance of Ialomita County after Slobozia, Fetesti and Urziceni. Tandarei have become a metropolis in 1968. The first documentary attestation dates from June 18, 1594, in an act issued via Mihai Viteazul. The first mapping point out of the locality is made within the Austrian navy map of Wallachia, made among 1787 to 1791, by way of the topographic provider of the Austrian navy.
