Tampa Mountain

Tampa is a mountain, some portion of the Postaul Massif, situated in the southern piece of the Eastern Carpathians and for the most part encompassed by the city of Brasov. Its rise is 960 m to 995 m as indicated by a few sources, very nearly 400 m over the city. The mountain is generally comprised of limestone arrangements, having ascended step by step from the Earth's covering. A large portion of the mountain is a pronounced nature hold, because of the uncommon creature species and plant species that are found there.

Various courses to the summit exist: there are 25 winding ways cut in 1837 by Brasov's woods organization; Gabony's stairs; the Knights' street, dating to the times of the Brasovia stronghold; and an auto street. A link auto makes the voyage between the lodge/eatery Casa Padurarului at the base of the mountain to the Restaurantul Panoramic, on its peak, in less than three minutes. The view from the summit is astounding, offering an all encom passing perspective of the city; on a sunny morning, the whole Burzenland is unmistakable. From your first minutes in Brasov, you're probably going to see the Hollywood-like "BRASOV" sign roosted high over the city on Tampa Mountain.
