Stefanestii de Jos

StefaneStii de Jos is a commune in Ilfov County, Muntenia, Romania, inclusive of the villages of Cretuleasca, Stefanestii de Jos and Stefanestii de Sus. It is located within the north-japanese a part of Bucharest, at a distance of 15 km. At the stop of the 19th century, the commune became named Stefanesti-Lipovatul, it was part of the Dambovita internet of Ilfov County and it consisted of the villages Boldu, Cretulesti-Lipovatul, Stefanestii de Jos, Stefanestii de Sus and Stefanesti-Pasarea, 1714 inhabitants, typically Gypsies.

In the commune there was a combined school at Stefanestii de Jos and 3 churches at Cretulesti-Lipovatul, Stefanestii de Jos and Stefanestii de sus. In 1925, the Socec Yearbook facts the commune inside the Pantelimon net of the equal county, comprising the villages Cretuleasca-Lipovata, Boltasi and Stefanestii de Sus, with a populace of 1956. In 1931, the commune was named Stefanesti, having the villages Stefanestii de Jos, Stefanestii de sus, Cretuleasca and Pasarea-Boltasi.
