Sovata

Sovata is a metropolis in Mures County, valuable Romania. Sovata is part of the Szekely Land vicinity of the historic Transylvania province. The first records about Sovata are from 1578. By 1583 it become already a village. For forty two years, from 1876 till 1918, the village belonged to the Maros-Torda County of the Austrian-Hungarian Empire. Due to its salty lakes and heat water it have become an increasingly more famous health motel in the course of the cease of the 19th and the 20th century. It gained the status of city in 1952.

According to the 2011 census the metropolis had a populace of 10,385 of which 89.4% have been Hungarians, 8.5% Romanians and a pair of% Roma. The geological activities in 1875 gave start to the Bear Lake, that's unique in Europe, its water being helio-thermal and salty, with purported therapeutic consequences for persistent gynecological symptoms, intense rheumatic pains, peripheral fearful machine and post-unintentional motor illnesses.
