Sohatu

Sohatu is a commune in Calarasi County, Muntenia, Romania, together with the Progresu and Sohatu villages. At the quit of the 19th century, the commune changed into a part of the Negoiesti net of Ilfov county and had the villages Dona, Macelaru and Sohatu, with a population of 1105 population.

There was a church in Sohatu, and a mixed faculty. The Socec Yearbook of 1925 records it within the Budesti website of the identical county, having a population of 3425 inhabitants in Progresu, Putu Dimii and Sohatu.
