Salcia Tudor

Salcia Tudor is a commune in Braila County , Muntenia , Romania , which includes Ariciu , Cuza Voda , Gulianca , Olanesti and Salcia Tudor villages. At the cease of the nineteenth century, the commune become named Gulianca , it turned into part of Marginea de Jos internet of Ramnicu Sarat County and it consisted of the Gulianca, Olaneasca and Ariciu hamlets, with a populace of 867 inhabitants. In the commune there have been steam turbines, two combined schools with 57 students in overall and an Orthodox church built in 1864.

In 1925, the commune is attested The Socec Yearbook within the Maicanesti website of the equal county, with the same villages and a populace of 1067 inhabitants. In 1931, the Gulianca village remained with the villages of Gulianca and Olaneasca, while the village of Ariciu, with smaller villages referred to as Domnita Ileana and King Ferdinand, shaped a separate commune known as King Ferdinand.
