Rachitova

Rachitova is a commune in Hunedoara County , Transylvania , Romania , which include the villages of Boita , Ciula Mare , Ciula Mica , Gotesti , Mesteacan , Rachitova and Valioara. According to the census finished in 2011 , the populace of Rachitova commune has 1,330 inhabitants, down from the previous census in 2002 , when there have been 1,487 inhabitants. Most of the population are Romanian. For 1.35 percentage of the population, ethnicity is unknown.

From a confessional factor of view, most of the inhabitants are Orthodox, however there are minority Baptists and Pentecostals. For 1.35 percentage of the population, confessional membership is unknown. The commune of Rachitova is run via a mayor and a nearby council composed of nine councilors. The mayor, Liviu Simedroni, from the Social Democratic Party , became elected in2016. Starting with local elections in 2016, the neighborhood council has the subsequent composition on political parties.
