About Prejmer
Prejmer is a commune in Brașov County, Romania. It is composed of 3 villages: Lunca Câlnicului, Prejmer and Stupinii Prejmerului. Located 18 km northeast of Brașov, the Olt River passes through the commune. The Teutonic Knights constructed the castle Tartlau in 1212 to 1213 as part of their colonization of the Burzenland place. The town of Prejmer near the fort had began development with the aid of 1225, and became the japanese-maximum settlement of the Transylvanian Saxons.
