Peris

Peris is a commune in Ilfov County, Muntenia, Romania, which includes the villages of Balteni, Burias and Peris. At the cease of the 19th century, the commune turned into named Cocioc, it was a part of the Snagov net of Ilfov County and consisted of the villages of Balteni, Bratulesti, Cocioc, Peris, Piscu, Piscu-Hereasca and Valeni-Buriasu, totalizing 2447 inhabitants they lived in 612 houses and five huts. The commune's property belonged mainly to Crown Domains.

There was a glide, a water mill, a blended faculty and 3 church buildings - in Balteni, Cocioc and Piscu. In 1925, Buftea-Bucoveni bills have been made to the same county, inclusive of the villages of Balteni, Bratulesti, Cocioc, Peris, Piscu, Valeni and Buriasi, with 5380 population in total. In Peris village there may be the "Saint Nicholas" church of the former Balteni cartoon courting from 1626, positioned in the village of Balteni and categorized as a ancient monument of countrywide hobby architecture.
