Panatau is a commune in Buzau County , Muntenia , Romania , such as the villages Begu , Lacu with Anini , Maguricea , Panatau, Plaisor , Rapile , Sibiciu de Jos , Tega and Zaharesti . In 2011, the village had 2537 population. At the cease of the 19th century, Panatau commune become a part of Buzau County of Buzau County and consisted of the villages Begu, Botesti, Babetu, Corcoianu, Diculsti, Gulesti, Lupoiu, Lacul cu Anini, Panatau, Platisoru, Sibiciu de Jos and Valea Fantanei, with 2140 population living in 517 homes. There had been four church buildings within the commune.
