About Palace of Culture
The Palace of Culture is an edifice located within the centre of Targu Mures, Romania. The constructing homes the Mures County Library, the Mures County Museum, and the State Philharmonic of Targu Mures. The Palace of Culture turned into constructed among 1911 and 1913 to the request of mayor Gyorgy Bernady with the aid of Marcell Komor 1868 to 1944 and Dezso Jakab 1864 to 1932. The opposition for building the Palace of Culture became gained through Komor and Jakab with their -floor plan.
Only later to the request of mayor Bernady Gyorgy the construction turned into extended to three flooring. Construction started out in 1911 and lasted till 1913 when the internal decorations have been finished. The Art Nouveau edifice, designed in Secession style, has 3 homes: the main constructing, the right constructing and the left constructing. Above of the Entrance Hall is the Mirrors' Hall, placed on the primary floor of the building With a ability of 700 seats, the multifunctional Concert Hall paperwork the valuable part of the constructing.
