Naeni

Naeni is a commune in Buzau County , Muntenia , Romania , inclusive of the villages Fantanele , Fintesti , Naeni, Prosca and Pef At the end of the 19th century, the commune changed into part of the Tohani internet of Buzau County and consisted of the Naeni, Prosca and Tudorachesti hamlets, with a complete of 1340 population residing in 314 homes. There have been Orthodox churches and two faculties - one of boys with 37 pupils and another of 30 girls.

During the same period, the communes of Finţeşti and Vispeşti functioned on the present day territory of Naeni commune. Vispesti commune, detached among 1862-1864 from the Breaza village and made of the villages Valeanca , Vispesti, Verfu and Fantanele, had 1250 population, of which half in the residence village. There have been two churches and a college at Vispesti. The Fintesti village, along with Fintesti and Tufele-Fintesti villages, had 1240 population, a church and a college with 62 students, of which 6 have been girls.
