Musatesti

Musatesti is a commune in Arges County, Muntenia, Romania, together with Bolovastisti, Costesti-Valsan, Musatesti, Prosia, Robaia, Stroesti, and Valea Faurului, Valea lui Mas, Valea Muscelului and Valsanesti. At the stop of the 19th century, the commune turned into part of the Arges net of Arges County and it consisted of the villages of Musatesti, Prosica, Robaia and Valea lui Mas, with a total of 1397 inhabitants. In the commune there were two church buildings and primary faculties.

At that point, at the modern territory of the commune, the communes of Costesti-Stroesti and Valsanesti also operated in the same net. The commune of Costesti-Stroesti comprised the two eponymous villages, and had 1679 inhabitants, two churches and primary schools. The Valsanesti commune had 818 population, comprising the villages of Valea Faurului and Valsanesti and had a church and a mixed college. The commune of Musatesti had 1696 population in the villages of Mustesti, Robaia and Valea lui Mas and within the hamlets Bolovanesti and Prosia.
