About Movila
Movila is a commune in Ialomita County, Muntenia, Romania, formed most effective from the village of residence of the same name. The first settlement at the territory of the commune commenced to coagulate across the Hagieni railway station, which seemed in turn with the construction of the Faurei-Fetesti railway in 1894. In 1925, Movila village seemed, following the appropriation of the veterans of the First World War. Thus, in 1931, Ferdinand I commune, fashioned of the village of the same call.
In 1948, after the established order of the Communist regime in Romania, the call of the commune and the village changed into Vasile Roaita. In 1950, the commune became assigned to the Fetesti district of the Ialomita location, then to the Constanta region and to the Bucharest vicinity. In 1964, the village and commune were renamed Movila. In 1968, the commune lower back to Ialomita County, re-hooked up. The commune is placed within the japanese part of the county, north of the town of Fetesti. It is crossed by the county avenue DJ212, which hyperlinks it north of Platonesti and Tandarei, and south of Fetesti. The Faurei-Fetesti railway, that's served via the Movila station, passes thru the commune.
