Mitreni is a commune in Calarasi County, Muntenia, Romania, along with the villages of Clatesti, Mitreni and Valea Rosie. At the give up of the 19th century, the commune became referred to as Mitreni-Clatesti, it changed into a part of the Oltenita internet of Ilfov county and it comprised the villages Mitreni, Clatesti and Luica, with a total of 1182 inhabitants, living in 260 houses and 12 huts.
