Manastirea Casin

Manastirea Casin is a commune in Bacsu County , Moldova , Romania , inclusive of the villages of Lupesti , Casin Monastery, Parvulesti and Scutaru. The commune is on the south-western extremity of the county, within the mountainous area at the border with the counties Covasna and Vrancea , on the upper path of the Casin River. It is served by using the county avenue DJ115, which connects it north of Casin and Onesti. At the stop of the 19th century, the commune was a part of the Trotus net of Bacau County and consisted of the villages Disrobite, Casin Monastery, Suseni and Lupeni, with a total of 2509 inhabitants.

There become a mixed college with 29 students founded in 1865, an oil manufacturing facility and a church, the biggest landowner being the Romanian country. The Socec Yearbook of 1925 statistics it within the same net with 3458 inhabitants within the villages of Casin, Fastrastrau, Halos, Carjau, Parvulesti and Suseni.
