About Madarjac
Madarjac is a commune in Iasi County , Moldova , Romania , such as the villages of Bojila , Frumusica and Madarjac. At the end of the nineteenth century, the commune did no longer exist, its villages belonging to Popesti commune and the commune of Pausesti. The Socec Yearbook of 1925 records the arrival of Madarjac commune in Bahlui , Iasi County , with 1052 inhabitants within the villages of Bojila, Frumuselele-Popesti, Frumuselele, Madarjac and Dealu Mare and Duruitoarea. In 1931, the village changed into composed of the villages of Bojila, Frumuselele, Frumusica and Madarjac.
In 1950, the commune turned into transferred to Targu Frumos rayon and then to the Iasi district in Iasi . In 1968, the commune lower back to Iasi County , re-installed, then the village of Frumuşelele become dismantled and merged with the village of Madarjac. Two goals from Madarjac commune are included inside the list of historic monuments in Iasi County as monuments of nearby interest, both positioned within the village of Madarjac and categorized as architectural monuments: the wooden church "Assumption of the Mother of God" and the timber church "Saint Gregory Bogoslov ".
