Ludesti

Ludesti is a commune in Dambovita County , Muntenia , Romania , including the Ludesti villages, Milosari , Potocelu , Scheiu de Jos , Scheiu de Sus and Telesti . Ludesti commune is crossed by way of DJ702A and DJ702L. It is positioned 23 km far from Gaesti and 25 km from the county seat, Targoviste. The first documentary attestation dates returned to May 27, 1539, in a letter of possession of a dwelling, of Radu Paisie , the prince of Wallachia.

At the stop of the 19th century, Ludesti commune turned into part of Dealul-Dambovita County of Dambovita County and it consisted of the villages Scheiu, Ludesti and Telesti, with 2370 population. There were three church buildings, a faculty and three water generators inside the commune. In 1925, the commune is registered within the Bogati website online of the same county, comprising the villages Ludesti and Telesti, with 1660 population. In 1950, the commune become protected within the Gaesti district of the Arges place , and in 1968 it lower back to Dambovita County , in its modern-day composition.
