About Ineu
Ineu is a city in Arad County, western Transylvania, Romania. It is situated at a distance of fifty seven km from the county capital Arad, it occupies a 116,6 rectangular km surface at the touch factor of Crișul Alb Basin and Crișurilor Plateau. Ineu is the principle front gate into the Zărand Land The city administers one village, Mocrea . Ineu was first attested in files within the year 1214 below the name "Villa Ieneu". It become a sanjak centre in the Temeş and Varad eyalets and it become known as "Yanova" all through the Ottoman rule among 1564 and 1595 and once more between 1658 and 1693.
The strains of habitation of this place are lost in the darkness of time. Archaeologists excavated artifacts belonging to the Neolithic civilization to the Dacian civilization, to the Roman profession and resources that attest the continuous inhabitance of those regions. These intervals and events left their marks upon the metropolis's improvement. After the 12 months 1870 it became rebuilt from its ruins in a Neoclassic style with late Renaissance and Baroque elements.
