Helegiu

Helegiu is a commune in Bacau County , Moldova , Romania , together with the villages of Bratila , Deleni , Dragugesti and Helegiu. At the stop of the 19th century, the commune was named Dragugesti , it became part of Tazlaul de Jos net of Bacau County and it consisted of the villages Dragugesti, Helegiu and Deleni, with 2445 inhabitants living in 698 houses. In the commune there have been a mixed school with 22 students, opened in Helegiu village in 1865, and 3 churches.

At that point, Bratila commune, Bratila de Jos, Bratila de Mijloc, Bratila de Sus, Gura Vaii and Ciorta, with 1219 inhabitants living in 326 houses, additionally operated on the equal web page in the commune's present day territory; here there has been a mixed school on the Middle Bratia and three Orthodox church buildings, and the principle owners had been the Romanian state, Ovanes Agianoglu, G.
