Grumazzesti is a commune in Neamt county, Moldova, Romania, including the villages of Curechistea, Grumazzesti, Netezi and Topolita. At the cease of the 19th century, the commune turned into in the Neamt County Upper Middle-net and changed into made of the villages of Curechesti, Hotarani, Grumasesti, Joseni, Suseni, Valeni and Hiza, with a total of 1654 inhabitants. There had been a mill, 3 church buildings and a college inside the commune.
The Socec yearbook of 1925 statistics it inside the Neamt Fortress, with 3436 population inside the villages of Curechistea, Grumazzesti, Ocea and Topolita. In 1950, the commune become transferred to Targu Neamt rayon from Bacau. In 1968, the commune lower back to Neamt County, re-set up; At that time, the village of Ocea become abolished.
