Ghimes-Faget

Ghimes-Faget is a commune in Bacăau County, Romania. It is the simplest commune inside the county that lies within the historical vicinity of Transylvania. The village become part of the Szekely Land location of the historic Transylvania province. It changed into first cited in 1600 as Gijmes. The area of the commune belonged to Csíkszek until the administrative reform of Transylvania in 1876, whilst it fell inside the Csík County of the Kingdom of Hungary.
