Gataia

Gataia is a town in Timis county, Banat, Romania, consisting of the issue localities Gataia and Sculia, and of the villages Butin, Percosova, Semlacu Mare and Semlacu Mic. It has a populace of 5,861 population. It was the capital of Gataia Square, within the inter-warfare county of Timis-Torontal.
