Garden of Eden

Some portion of the joy of walking around the city's thick urban texture is finding concealed pockets of green between the structures and hearing the buzz of discussion underneath the trees. As of late, outside bistros and drinking gardens have jumped up all around town to exploit Bucharest's sweltering summer evenings, when, to be honest, nobody needs to sit inside. The book shop may have touched off the pattern with its sprawling Verona Garden at the back. The OAR Garden, adjacent, offers more security and the likelihood of live jazz or acoustic guitar on a few nights. Not far away, tucked behind the forsaken Palatul is the rich Eden Garden. Purchase a jug of rosé at the bar and locate a shaded table.
