Darabani

Darabani is a city in Botoşani County, Moldova, Romania, which includes the village Darabani and from the villages of Bajura, Şşanca and Lşmăniţa. It is near the triple border of Moldova-Romania-Ukraine. It is the northernmost city of Romania and has a population of 9,893 population. The first documentary attestation of the locality dates returned to 1546, in a file signed by using the ruler Petru Rares. The village is named Darabani for the primary time in a map of 1725, after which it's miles mentioned within the well-known "Catagory of Moldavia" in 1774.
