About Cuzdrioara
Cuzdrioara is a commune in Cluj County, Transylvania, Romania, made of the villages of Cuzdrioara, Manastur and Valea Garboului. It is to the east of Dej, on the confluence of Somesul Mare with Someşul Mic. Exploitation of salt recognized in antiquity are also the ones from Cuzdrioara. At the western edge of the village is visible the outline of the ditches of an old fortified agreement. The diameter of the huts is about 50 m, the height of them reaches 2 m. Today the territory is occupied by using a reformed cemetery. Neolithic, Roman and medieval ceramic objects had been found in the fort.
The castle may additionally had been used since the Arpad duration. The King of Hungary and Croatia, Andrew II, donated the village of Master Denes, one of the ancestors of the Bánffy circle of relatives, a circle of relatives that remained in the village till the seventeenth century. The Cuzdrioara Commune is administered by way of a mayor and a nearby council composed of eleven councilors.
