Creaca

Creaki is the village of the commune with the identical call in Salaj County, Transylvania, Romania. Seated at the intersection of crucial roads when you consider that historical times, the village of Creaca appears in files for the primary time in 1385 below the call Kerikapatak. Other information within the documents of the time, as offered by using Petri Mor in his work Szilagyi varmegye monographiaja posted in Zalau, 1904, mention us of Karika in 1475, and in 1543, Karyka and Kadika.

As is widely known by using a few of the inhabitants, the village fire was moved for 80 years to the location referred to as The Old Village beginning in 1681, after which the villagers gradually again to the old and gift fireplace. The Creaca locality is placed within the critical part of the county, in the touch area between the Meses Mountains, the Dumbrava Hill and the Almas-Agrij Depression. The Dumbrava Hill is the connecting bridge between the summit of Meses and the crystalline horticulture of Ticau, the Ortelec valley isolating the two units.
