Ciorogarla

Ciorogarla is a commune in Ilfov County, Muntenia, Romania, along with the villages of Ciorogarla and Darvari. At the quit of the 19th century, it was named Ciorogarla-Darvari, it changed into part of the Sabar net of Ilfov County and consisted of the villages of Ciorogarla, Darvari and Catichea, with a complete of 1744 population and 359 homes. In the commune there were combined colleges at Ciorogarla and Darvari, a water mill, steam-threshing machines and 5 Orthodox churches.

In 1925, it became part of the Lord's fee inside the equal county, with the equal composition the Ciorogarla Monastery became recorded because the hamlet of the commune and a populace of 3008. Temporarily, in 1931, the villages of Darvari and Catichea shaped a separate commune, known as Darvari. Later, the village Catichea disappeared, being embedded within the village of Darvari. The commune is positioned southwest of Bucharest on the banks of the Ciorogarla river. It is crossed by means of the Bucharest-Pitesti toll road, being served by the DJ601 county avenue, which starts with the go out from the motorway in the japanese tour of the commune.
