About Chirnogi
Chirnogi is a commune in Calarasi County, Muntenia, Romania, formed most effective from the house of the same name. The call of the commune most possibly comes from Turkish, kirnak, -gi-s.F.S. Roaba, s.F.Pl. or Bulgarian, kirnoga, kirnozi which means grimy feet or legs. At the give up of the 19th century, the commune was a part of the Oltenita internet of Ilfov County and became the second largest commune in the county, along the Lipia-Bojdani commune.
