Casin

Casin is a commune in Bacau County , Moldova , Romania , inclusive of the villages of Casin and Curita. The village village of Casin is located at the valley of Caşin at the sinking of the Curita brook in the river Casin, occupying the valley on its whole width, from the hill of Lazii, over the water of Casin, and as much as the hills of Buciumi and Podu Mare hills . Viewed from one of the surrounding hills, the village seems in a greenery, made of the vineyards and orchards that surround it, but also by the multitude of timber and gardens that surround it. Also, the village is beautiful, with its houses on both aspects of the road, complete of frequent and winding streets.

In the middle of the village, at the west facet of the road, are observed the four edifices that bring them fake: City Hall , General School, The Cultural House and the Heroes Monument. This monument become erected and unveiled on October 24, 1999 via Ion Gosav in his tenure as mayor, inside the presence of masses of citizens in the commune, scholars and school route represented by means of Prof. Remus Balanica, numerous dozen veterans , and the clergymen who sanctified this monument committed to the ones loved ones who have sacrificed themselves in foreign lands for our freedom.
