About Campina
Campina is a metropolis in Prahova County, Romania, north of the county seat Ploiesti, placed on the principle route between Wallachia and Transylvania. Its existence is first attested in a report of 1503. It is located within the historic area of Muntenia. Formerly a customs point at the change direction between Transylvania and Wallachia, the metropolis developed on the end of the 19th century and the beginning of the twentieth century as an oil extraction and processing middle. Between 1897 and 1898, Campina turned into the web page of the most important oil refinery in Europe. The town is domestic to the 3rd-department soccer club FC Unirea Campina and to 4th-department soccer membership FCM Campina, founded in 1936.
The occupations of the plains at some point of this era have been: agriculture, merchandising, beekeeping, and the extraction of the pond from the basement of the settlement with the aid of the wells.
