About Cabesti
Cabesti is a commune in Bihor County, Romania, round 13 kilometers north of the town of Beius. The commune is composed of 5 villages: Cabesti, Goila, Gurbesti sGorbesd, Josani Dzsoszony and Sohodol Aszoirtas. The village has a population of approximately 350 human beings. The entire population is ethnic Romanian. The river Valea Roșia flows thru the village. The village has very lovely landscapes, in particular at some point of the summer season. Gurbesti is part of the Cabești commune.
The river Valea Roșia flows alongside the village. Almost all the populace of the village is ethnic Romanian. Gurbesti has a 300-12 months-antique Orthodox church, one of the oldest churches inside the region. The Romanian Orthodox Church Romanian: Biserica Ortodoxă Romana is an autocephalous Orthodox Church in complete communion with other Eastern Orthodox Christian Churches, one of the nine Patriarchates in the Eastern Orthodox Church. Most of those homes are determined inside the center of the commune.
