Brusturi Draganesti

Brusturi is a commune in Neamt County, Moldova, Romania, including Brusturi, Grosi, Poiana and Tarzie. At the cease of the 19th century the commune did no longer exist, its villages belonging to the commune of Draganesti located inside the decrease Moldavia website of Suceava County. The Socec Yearbook of 1925 statistics the established order of the Poiana commune, with the villages of Brusturi, Cornilesti, Gros, Poiana and Tarziu inside the Boroaia internet of the same county; the commune had 2661 population.

In 1931, the commune become named Brusturi and became part of Baia County. In 1950, she went to the administration of Targu Neamt rayon from Bacau. In 1968, she moved to Neamt County, and the villages of the destroyed commune Draganesti, the commune named Brusturi-Draganesti, had been brought. The villages of Draganesti commune separated again in 2004, and the commune returned to the call of Brusturi. The commune is placed in the northern quit of the county, at the border with Suceava County. It is crossed by way of the countrywide avenue DN15C, which connects Piatra Neamt with Falticeni.
