Bratca is a commune located in Bihor County, western Romania. At 5,158, it is one of the county's biggest communes. It is composed of six villages: Beznea, Bratca, Damis, Lorau, Ponoara and Valea Crisului. Bratca had a population of 1,786 in 1941. At that time it become a middle of aluminum and titanium mining.
