Boianu Mare

Boianu Mare is a commune in Bihor county , Crisana , Romania , together with the Boianu Mare villages , Corboaia , Huta , Pagaia and Rugea . According to the census done in 2011 , the population of Boianu Mare is 1,343 inhabitants, down from the previous census in 2002 , whilst 1,428 inhabitants were registered. Most of the inhabitants are Romanian, with a minority of Hungarians. For 2.16% of the populace, ethnicity is unknown. From the confessional factor of view, maximum of the inhabitants are Orthodox, but there are minorities of the Pentecostal, reformed, Baptists and Roman -catolici. For 2.53% of the population, confessional membership is unknown.

The Boianu Mare commune is administered by way of a mayor and a neighborhood council composed of nine councilors.
