About Bisoca
Bisoca is a commune in Buzău County, Muntenia, Romania, including the villages of Batagari, Bisoca, Lacarii, Lopatareasa, Pleşi, Recea, Sarii and Şindrila. The phrase Bisoca comes from the Slavonic "vasocoi", the locality being placed at an altidudine of approximately 1,000 meters. At the quit of the nineteenth century, Bisoca turned into part of the Râmnicu locality of Râmnicu Sarat county, such as the villages Bisoca, Băltăgari, Sarii, Şindila, Recea, Lopatareasca, Bisocuţa and Poiana, totaling 1471 inhabitants. In the commune there was a wood church founded in 1835, every other wall based in 1883 and a faculty of boys with 102 students, founded in 1890.
In 1925, the commune is registered with the villages Bisoca, Lopătăreasa, Recea, Sarii and Şindrila inside the same county of Dumitreşti, having 1,797 inhabitants. In 1950, it changed into blanketed in Ramnicu Sarat district of the Buzau vicinity and then of the Ploiesti location. In 1968, inside the modern shape, it became part of Buzau County.
