Bargauani

Bargauani is a commune in Neamt county, Moldova, Romania, shaped through the villages of Bahna Mare, Baratca, Balanesti, Bargauani, Breaza, Certieni, Chilia, Darloaia, Ghelaiesti, Hartop, Homiceni, Talpa and Vladiceni. At the end of the 19th century, the commune changed into part of the upper-center net of Neamt county. At the time, on the modern territory of the commune, the Talpa village, along with the villages of Chiliile, Craesti, Hlapesti, Homiceni, Negoesti, Talpa and Taietura, additionally had 1810 inhabitants.

In Talpa there has been a combined college, five Orthodox and one Catholic church buildings. The Socec Yearbook of 1925 statistics the communes in Razboieni net of the same county. The commune of Bargaoani had 1560 inhabitants in the villages of Bargaoani, Cartieni, Baratca and Breaza; Talpa commune had 2185 population in the villages of Asmoiaia, Chilia, Craesti, Hlapesti, Homiceni and Talpa.
