Barcea

Barcea is a commune in Galati County , Moldova , Romania , along with the villages of Barcea and Podoleni . It is in Tecuci Plain; near the river Barlad ; and at an altitude of 29 m above sea degree. In 1968, it become transferred to Galaţi county , then the villages of Barcea Noua, Barcea Veche and Dorasti were merged to form the village of Barcea.
