Balaceanu

Balaceanu is a commune in Buzau County, Muntenia, Romania, shaped handiest from the village of house of the same call. At the end of the 19th century the commune consisted of one village and turned into the seat of Ramnicul de Jos charge in Râmnicu Sărat county, with a population of 1361 inhabitants. In the commune there has been a blended college opened in 1892, where 154 pupils had been knowledgeable and a church founded via the inhabitants in 1861. In 1925, the commune was covered within the town of the equal county, with 1674 inhabitants. In 1950, the commune became protected in Ramnicu Sarat district of the Buzau region and then of the Ploiesti vicinity. In 1968, after the executive reform, he moved to Buzau County.

The commune is located in the jap part of the county, on the border with Brăila county, and it is crossed by using the Bălăceanu move, which flows into Lake Jirlău and then into the Buzău River.
